The Park Environmental Education Center (aka CEA), located in the heart of the village of Stagnali on the island of Caprera, is ready to welcome visitors with its wide range of museums.
The Isule Cooperative, commissioned by the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park Authority, in collaboration with the Giovanni Cesaraccio Pro-natura and Italia Nostra Associations of La Maddalena, will guide you on an itinerary through nature, cetaceans, sea turtles, biology, but also geology, minerals, fossils, history, and local traditions.
A complete mix to discover the wonderful world of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park up close!
From March 1 to October 31, 2026, on opening days, you can immerse yourself in the discovery of three rich museums:
- Capodoglio
- Giovanni Cesaraccio Geomineralogical and Naturalistic Museum
- Museum of the Sea and Seafaring Traditions
Visits are completely free of charge and suitable for children and school groups.
Book your visit by contacting Irene on +39 388 9378451.
The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park Authority to making its Environmental Education Center (CEA) a hub for environmental education and culture.
The goal is twofold: on the one hand, to raise awareness among the younger generation and visitors about the importance of conserving marine and terrestrial ecosystems; on the other, to protect and pass on traditions.
